Position: Community Harvest Coordinator

As a Community Harvest Coordinator, you will play a vital role in fostering relationships with local growers and farmers. Your responsibilities will include coordinating the collection and distribution of fresh, nutritious food to those in need, while also supporting our community outreach programs. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for supporting local agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and maintain relationships with local farmers and growers
Coordinate the collection and distribution of fresh produce
Develop and implement community outreach initiatives
Engage volunteers and community members in food donation activities
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and best practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Experience working in agriculture or food distribution preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Passion for addressing food insecurity and hunger in the community
