Position Overview

The Imaging Technology Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the operational efficiency and efficacy of our imaging systems. This position requires expertise in imaging technologies and a deep understanding of their application in real-world settings. As an Imaging Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of imaging equipment, as well as providing training and support to staff members who utilize these systems.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their imaging needs and provide tailored solutions.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to imaging technologies in a timely manner.
Assist in the installation and configuration of new imaging equipment, providing guidance to users on best practices.
Develop and implement training programs for staff to enhance their proficiency in using imaging technologies.
Stay abreast of advancements in imaging technologies and contribute to ongoing improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records of equipment performance and service history.
Participate in safety and compliance audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Biomedical Engineering, Radiologic Technology, or similar) is preferred.
A minimum of three years of experience working with imaging systems or related technologies.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to non-technical staff.
Proficiency in the use of various imaging modalities including MRI, CT, and ultrasound technologies.
Knowledge of safety regulations and standards related to imaging technologies.
