Position: Environmental Compliance Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies in line with local regulations.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and ensure adherence to sustainable practices.
- Monitor and evaluate the environmental performance of our operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote environmental awareness and implement eco-friendly initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in sustainability.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental compliance or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and legislation in South Africa.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
