We are currently looking for a Rural Innovation Specialist to contribute to our team's success in enhancing sustainability and innovation in the local community. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on projects that directly impact the rural landscape of Iceland.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with local farmers and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture practices
Lead initiatives that promote rural development and economic growth in the Eastern Region
Conduct research on best practices in agriculture and implement strategies to improve productivity
Participate in community outreach programs to educate and engage with residents on rural development

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience working in rural communities and understanding of agricultural challenges
Strong communication and project management skills
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and drive initiatives independently
