We are currently seeking a Rural Development Specialist to play a key role in fostering growth and development in the agricultural sector within our service areas. As a Rural Development Specialist at UGI Penn Natural Gas, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with local farmers, businesses, and community leaders to implement sustainable solutions and drive positive change.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with agricultural stakeholders to understand their needs and challenges
Identify opportunities for growth and innovation in the rural sector
Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement initiatives that support rural development
Educate and engage community members on sustainable practices
Stay informed about industry trends and developments related to agriculture and rural communities

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Environmental Science, or related field
Prior experience working in agriculture or rural development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to think creatively and problem-solve effectively
Passion for sustainability and community development
