We are currently seeking passionate individuals to fill the position of Livestock Wellness Specialist at Namaqualand Farmers' Cooperative. As a Livestock Wellness Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our valuable assets. Your responsibilities will include implementing health programs, conducting wellness checks, and providing expert advice on nutrition and overall care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute health and wellness strategies for livestock
- Perform routine health assessments and monitor animal well-being
- Collaborate with veterinarians and nutritionists to optimize livestock health
- Provide training and guidance to cooperative members on best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Science or related field
- Proven experience in livestock management
- Strong knowledge of animal health, nutrition, and wellness
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
