Security and Protection Specialist Position - Louisiana Department of Health - Office of Aging and Adult Services - Region 9

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in the crucial role of Safety and Defense Specialist. As a key member of our organization based in Louisiana, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and protection of our aging and adult community members in Region 9.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement security protocols and procedures to safeguard our community members.
Conduct risk assessments and develop security plans to address potential threats.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to maintain a secure environment.
Train staff and volunteers on security measures and emergency response protocols.
Monitor facility access and respond to security incidents accordingly.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in security management or related fields.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing situations.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus.
