Kenya Forest Service is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team in Central Kenya as a Biodiversity Conservation Associate. As a Biodiversity Conservation Associate, you will play a crucial role in the preservation and enhancement of our diverse ecosystems and wildlife populations.
Your responsibilities will include conducting field surveys to assess biodiversity, analyzing data to identify trends and threats to environmental conservation, and collaborating with local communities to promote sustainable practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting biodiversity surveys and assessments
- Analyzing data and producing reports on conservation trends
- Developing conservation strategies in collaboration with stakeholders
- Implementing community-based conservation initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
