Position Overview

We are presently seeking a highly skilled Senior Bio-Engineering Specialist to augment our expert team. This role focuses on the research, design, and implementation of advanced technological systems that enhance care, monitoring, and wellness optimization within biological care environments.

Our projects encompass the development of automated systems, smart-device integrations, and cutting-edge wearable technologies tailored for specialized life-support and care applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative bio-tech systems utilizing IoT, AI, and sensor networks to monitor and enhance biological subject well-being.
• Lead R&D initiatives focusing on smart wearable devices and environment-responsive platforms.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including software engineers, materials scientists, and product designers to bring transdisciplinary solutions to market.
• Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and quality assurance of advanced bio-compatible materials and electronic components.
• Ensure compliance with European Union regulations regarding life-support technologies and safety standards.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and contribute to scientific publications and patents.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate training sessions to disseminate new technology understanding within the company.

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Bio-Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working on technologies related to biological monitoring, assistive devices, or embedded system design.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and experience with embedded systems firmware development.
• Strong understanding of sensor technologies, signal processing, and data analytics within biological applications.
• Hands-on experience with AI and machine learning models tailored for real-time data interpretation and decision-making.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like MDR and ISO 13485.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with effective communication and project management capabilities.
• Fluent English is mandatory; proficiency in Spanish is highly advantageous.
