Position Overview

The Wellness Program Coordinator will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing programs that encourage physical vitality and overall well-being within our client base and employee community. This position requires an individual who is passionate about motivating people, creating structured movement initiatives, and developing innovative strategies that enhance endurance, flexibility, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Program Development: Conceptualize and design engaging wellness initiatives tailored to diverse age groups and fitness levels, promoting active lifestyles that contribute to long-term health benefits.
Community Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with local organizations, recreational centers, and corporate clients to expand the outreach and effectiveness of wellness activities.
Leadership and Instruction: Lead group sessions and workshops that incorporate various movement techniques, enhancing participants’ coordination, strength, and stamina.
Monitoring and Evaluation: Establish measurable goals and utilize both qualitative and quantitative methods to assess the impact of wellness programs, adjusting tactics as necessary to maximize participation and benefit.
Resource Management: Coordinate the procurement and maintenance of equipment and materials essential for running successful initiatives.
Education and Awareness: Serve as an ambassador for physical health, providing informative presentations on exercise science, nutrition fundamentals, injury prevention, and healthy habits.
Collaboration: Work closely with Sundown Solar Solutions’ sustainability team to align wellness efforts with environmental consciousness, demonstrating a holistic approach to well-being.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Promotion, or a related field.
Proven experience developing and managing movement-based wellness programs, preferably in corporate or community settings.
Exceptional interpersonal and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire diverse groups toward active participation.
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and principles of human movement.
Excellent organizational and project management capabilities.
Ability to analyze wellness data and generate comprehensive reports.
Certified in CPR/AED and other relevant health and safety protocols.
Proficiency with digital tools for scheduling, communication, and data tracking.
A proactive mindset and passion for promoting sustainable wellness aligned with energy conservation principles.
