  • Stay informed on best practices and emerging methodologies related to community assessment, data interpretation, and outcome evaluation.
  • Ensure strict adherence to data privacy, ethical standards, and Icelandic regulations concerning information gathering and usage.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field such as Environmental Studies, Sociology, Data Science, or Social Sciences with an emphasis on data interpretation.
  • Demonstrable experience working with varied types of data, including survey development, qualitative coding, and statistical summarization.
  • Proficiency with data tools and software such as Excel, SPSS, R, Python, or similar platforms that support data analysis and visualization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Icelandic is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a dynamic, multi-stakeholder team environment.
  • A genuine commitment to environmental education, community development, and sustainable practices.
