Position Overview

As a Strategic Insights Analyst, you will be at the forefront of gathering, interpreting, and translating data into actionable narratives that empower leadership teams to make informed decisions. Your work supports various departments by identifying opportunities, maximizing outreach effectiveness, and strengthening member engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Data Interpretation & Pattern Identification: Collect and analyze diverse data sets from internal and external sources to uncover significant trends and insights relevant to membership, community impact, and program effectiveness.
Insight Development: Translate quantitative and qualitative findings into clear, compelling reports and visual presentations that influence strategic planning and resource allocation.
Collaborative Partnership: Work closely with cross-functional teams including program directors, communications specialists, and field coordinators to integrate analytical insights into organizational initiatives.
Trend Monitoring: Keep abreast of demographic, cultural, and social shifts that may affect the Church’s outreach efforts and community engagement strategies.
Innovative Approaches: Utilize advanced tools and methodologies to continuously enhance data collection and analysis processes, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality, integrity, and respect when handling sensitive information in accordance with organizational policies and legal regulations.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields such as Applied Analytics, Behavioral Science, Data Science, Economics, Sociology, or related disciplines.
Proven experience working with large data sets, with a focus on extracting meaningful insights rather than pure number-crunching.
Strong proficiency in analytical software, data visualization tools, and database querying (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or R).
Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a values-driven environment.
Familiarity with faith-based communities or non-profit sectors is a plus, but not required.
