About the Role

The Supply Chain Coordination Specialist supports the operational needs of our hospital by overseeing the flow and distribution of critical materials throughout the facility. Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate the timely movement of medical supplies and equipment between departments within the hospital and from external partners.
Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipments, and delivery schedules to ensure uninterrupted availability of essential items.
Collaborate closely with purchasing teams, clinical departments, external vendors, and transportation providers to synchronize delivery and receipt of materials.
Monitor and troubleshoot any disruptions in the supply flow, proactively developing contingency plans with team members.
Participate in regular meetings to contribute ideas for process improvements and to support hospital-wide initiatives aimed at optimizing operations.
Assist with training and supporting new staff involved in material coordination activities.

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply management, or related field preferred.
Experience working in a fast-paced healthcare or service environment, especially in roles involving coordination and material handling, is an advantage.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal – necessary for liaising with diverse internal teams and external partners.
Proficiency with standard computer software, including inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
