Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of International Operations, the successful candidate will spearhead the identification, assessment, and integration of new regional opportunities and partner relationships. This leadership role demands a thorough understanding of complex, multi-unit business architectures and the ability to seamlessly scale operational models across different cultural and regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Expansion Planning: Develop forward-thinking strategies that identify lucrative markets for expansion and optimize existing operational networks globally.
Partnership Cultivation: Build, nurture, and manage relationships with regional stakeholders, including government bodies, commercial enterprises, and service providers, ensuring alignment with IAP’s values and objectives.
Operational Integration: Oversee the harmonization of processes, standards, and quality across newly acquired or newly affiliated units to maintain consistency and high performance.
Market Intelligence & Analysis: Continuously monitor global trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decision-making and anticipate future growth opportunities.
Cross-Cultural Leadership: Lead multi-disciplinary, geographically dispersed teams while fostering an inclusive, performance-driven culture that leverages diverse perspectives.
Risk Management & Compliance: Ensure all global expansion activities comply with local laws, international regulations, and internal governance frameworks.
Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage budgets related to expansion projects, monitor KPIs, and deliver measurable returns on investment.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in network development, business expansion, or equivalent roles within industries that operate distributed service models.
Proven track record of successfully growing a network of operations or partners internationally.
Deep familiarity with geopolitical and regulatory considerations in multiple regions including but not limited to the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills enabling effective dialogue with stakeholders on all levels.
Advanced degree in Business Administration, International Relations, or related field preferred.
Willingness to travel internationally as needed to support business objectives.

Preferred Attributes

Experience in defense, government contracting, or complex service delivery sectors.
Established network of contacts within global commercial enterprises and governmental institutions.
Fluency in a second language is considered a strong advantage.
