Position Overview

The Engineering Systems Specialist will primarily focus on designing, analyzing, and optimizing complex operational systems that include dynamic mechanical structures and advanced control mechanisms often employed in high-stakes field applications, such as transportation systems, unmanned vehicle technologies, and infrastructure operations. This role offers an excellent platform to apply multidisciplinary engineering principles, leverage state-of-the-art simulation tools, and participate in collaborative research projects spanning government and industry partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement innovative approaches to system modeling, simulation, and performance evaluation tailored to dynamic, high-precision engineered systems.
  • Lead collaborative research initiatives with internal departments and external partners to advance system reliability, safety, and efficiency.
  • Engage in the optimization of mechanical and electronic integration within complex transportation and remote operational platforms.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and mentoring of students participating in related engineering disciplines.

We Are Looking For Candidates With

  • A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and analysis of complex mechanical and control systems.
  • Proficiency with simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, or SolidWorks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
