Position Overview

The Engineering Systems Specialist will primarily focus on designing, analyzing, and optimizing complex operational systems that include dynamic mechanical structures and advanced control mechanisms often employed in high-stakes field applications, such as transportation systems, unmanned vehicle technologies, and infrastructure operations. This role offers an excellent platform to apply multidisciplinary engineering principles, leverage state-of-the-art simulation tools, and participate in collaborative research projects spanning government and industry partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement innovative approaches to system modeling, simulation, and performance evaluation tailored to dynamic, high-precision engineered systems.
Lead collaborative research initiatives with internal departments and external partners to advance system reliability, safety, and efficiency.
Engage in the optimization of mechanical and electronic integration within complex transportation and remote operational platforms.
Contribute to curriculum development and mentoring of students participating in related engineering disciplines.
Prepare technical reports, publications, and presentations to disseminate research findings at conferences and symposiums.
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and regulatory frameworks impacting operational systems engineering.

We Are Looking For Candidates With

A Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
Demonstrated experience in the design and analysis of complex mechanical and control systems.
Proficiency with simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, or SolidWorks.
Strong problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
