Role Overview
In this dynamic and challenging role, you will be the driving force behind our talent sourcing and engagement strategies. You will orchestrate end-to-end talent identification, assessment, and integration processes for critical roles across multiple departments. Your insights, foresight, and execution will directly influence Navistar’s competitive positioning and ability to innovate. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Talent Planning: Collaborate with department leaders and senior management to forecast talent needs aligned with Navistar’s long-term business objectives and industry trends.
- Candidate Sourcing & Assessment: Develop and implement innovative sourcing methodologies to identify top-tier candidates, including passive talent and diverse talent pipelines, using technology and data analytics tools.
- Employer Branding & Candidate Experience: Enhance Navistar’s employer brand in the Ohio region and beyond by creating engaging candidate experiences, representing our values, and cultivating a positive perception in the talent market.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a trusted advisor to hiring managers, guiding them through talent evaluation, interviewing best practices, and decision-making processes to select candidates who align with both role requirements and corporate culture.
- Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine recruitment workflows to maximize efficiency, reduce time-to-fill metrics, and improve quality of hire while ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
- Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives: Integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into talent acquisition strategies to promote a more innovative, inclusive, and high-performing workforce.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize recruitment analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
- Technology Integration: Leverage applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruitment marketing platforms, and social media channels to optimize outreach and engagement.
- Training & Development: Provide coaching and training to hiring teams on best practices for candidate evaluation and onboarding readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications in talent acquisition or change management are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in talent sourcing, assessment, or workforce planning roles within complex, fast-paced environments.
- Proven track record designing and implementing strategic talent identification and acquisition initiatives that have measurably improved organizational performance.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and fostering collaborative partnerships.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting recruitment metrics and turning insights into actionable strategies.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in talent attraction and retention.
- High proficiency with recruitment technologies (ATS, CRM, digital sourcing tools) and social media platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously, demonstrating flexibility and resilience under pressure.
