About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Architect and Design Systems: Develop end-to-end architecture for custom applications and platforms that support pipeline monitoring, asset management, billing solutions, and customer data analytics.
- Technology Integration: Evaluate, select, and integrate cutting-edge software tools and platforms that align with industry best practices and organizational goals.
- Collaborative Development: Partner with internal teams to translate operational requirements into reliable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.
- Code Review & Quality Assurance: Establish rigorous quality standards through code reviews, automated testing, and continuous deployment methodologies.
- Innovation Leadership: Stay current with emerging trends in cloud computing, data analytics, automation, and cybersecurity, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure systems adhere to all applicable standards, including NERC CIP, FERC, and other regulatory frameworks governing the energy sector.
- Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Guide junior developers and technical staff through best practices, architectural patterns, and development methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience designing and implementing complex software solutions within regulated industries.
- Proficiency with modern programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Deep understanding of system architecture principles, microservices, APIs, and event-driven design.
- Experience working with SCADA systems, IoT devices, or other energy infrastructure technologies is a strong plus.
