About the Role: Wellness Support Specialist

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wellness Support Specialist to join our enthusiastic team in Oslo. This role is uniquely positioned at the crossroads of adventure and personal well-being. You will be essential in supporting our guests’ health and comfort throughout their tours, monitoring their condition, and providing confidential guidance and support whenever necessary. Your expertise will help us maintain an environment where everyone can fully enjoy their journey, feeling safe and cared for.

Key Responsibilities

Health Monitoring: Conduct regular check-ins with guests during our tours to assess their physical and emotional well-being, responding promptly to any signs of discomfort or distress.
Emergency Preparedness and Response: Be ready to provide immediate assistance in case of minor health issues or support in coordinating professional care if required, ensuring swift and effective responses.
Wellness Advice and Guidance: Offer personalized advice on hydration, nutrition, rest, and injury prevention to promote the best possible experience for all participants.
Documentation: Maintain confidential health records and reports to track guest wellness trends and help improve our support strategies.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with tour guides, operations staff, and management to communicate any health-related concerns and collaboratively develop solutions aimed at enhancing guest safety and enjoyment.
Training and Development: Participate in ongoing professional training to stay updated with best practices in wellness support in outdoor and travel environments.
Creating a Positive Atmosphere: Help cultivate a welcoming and reassuring environment through your interpersonal skills and commitment to empathy and respect.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will be someone who naturally embodies kindness and attentiveness, with a professional background connected to wellness and care. While previous experience directly related to adventure or travel settings is a plus, your ability to empathize and communicate effectively is what matters most.

Formal education or certification in nursing, wellness coaching, or a related discipline.
Proven experience supporting individuals’ physical or emotional well-being, preferably in dynamic or outdoor settings.
Strong communication skills, including the capacity to listen actively and provide clear, reassuring guidance.
Ability to remain calm, composed, and decisive under pressure.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Norwegian is highly desirable.
Commitment to teamwork and collaborative problem-solving.
Passion for travel, outdoor activities, and creating memorable experiences for others.
