We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at the Sicilian Historical Preservation Society in Sicily, Italy. As a Digital Heritage Steward, you will play a crucial role in preserving and promoting Sicily's rich cultural heritage through innovative digital strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital campaigns to raise awareness of Sicilian history and heritage
- Manage digital platforms to engage with our community and supporters
- Collaborate with the preservation team to create engaging content highlighting historical landmarks
- Utilize cutting-edge technology to digitize and archive historical documents and artifacts
- Monitor and analyze digital data to track the impact of our preservation efforts
Qualifications:
- Passionate about history, culture, and heritage preservation
- Proficiency in digital content creation and social media management
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of heritage conservation practices is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
