Allegheny Technologies is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Wildlife Conservation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being and protection of diverse wildlife species in Pennsylvania and beyond.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field research to monitor and assess wildlife populations
- Develop and implement conservation strategies for at-risk species
- Collaborate with government agencies and non-profit organizations on conservation initiatives
- Educate the public on wildlife conservation and the importance of preserving natural habitats
- Advocate for wildlife protection policies and regulations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
- Experience in wildlife research and conservation projects
- Knowledge of local and federal wildlife protection laws
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Passion for preserving biodiversity and wildlife habitats
