Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to creating a positive impact in Vermont by providing affordable housing solutions while promoting sustainable living practices. We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Community Development Specialist.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with local communities to identify housing needs and develop sustainable solutions.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure successful project implementation.
Organize and lead community engagement initiatives to raise awareness about affordable housing and environmental sustainability.
Conduct research on best practices in community development and apply innovative strategies to our projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Community Development, Environmental Studies, or related field.
Previous experience in project management or community outreach is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Passion for social responsibility, sustainability, and affordable housing.
