KZN Blind and Deaf Society Outreach Program is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Sensory Awareness Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative sensory experiences that enhance the well-being and quality of life for our community members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sensory engagement programs tailored to individuals with unique needs.
- Collaborate with our outreach team to integrate sensory awareness into existing programs and activities.
- Provide specialized training to staff and volunteers on sensory considerations and best practices.
- Stay updated on current research and trends in sensory support strategies.
- Establish partnerships with external organizations to expand sensory awareness initiatives.
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for enhancing sensory experiences for individuals with diverse abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
