We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team at VicForests in Victoria, Australia as a Wildlife Stewardship Specialist. As a steward of our precious natural resources, you will be responsible for overseeing the well-being and conservation of the diverse wildlife populations within Victoria's forests.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess wildlife populations to ensure sustainable management practices
Develop and implement strategies to protect and promote biodiversity
Collaborate with forestry teams to minimize impact on wildlife habitats
Conduct research and surveys to support wildlife conservation efforts
Educate and engage stakeholders on wildlife conservation initiatives

Qualifications:

Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
Experience in wildlife management or conservation
Knowledge of Victorian wildlife species and habitats
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion for environmental stewardship and conservation
