The Lombardy Foundation for Research on Neonatal Disorders (FLIRND) is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as the Head of Sustainable Development Initiatives. In this key role, you will drive our organization's mission to promote sustainable practices that are essential for the well-being of neonates and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sustainable agricultural projects to support neonatal health and rural communities.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders and researchers to identify innovative solutions for neonatal care within the context of rural environments.
  • Evaluate and monitor the impact of agricultural practices on neonatal health outcomes.
  • Lead initiatives to improve access to nutritious food sources in rural areas.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends and developments in sustainable agriculture and rural development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Proven experience in sustainable agriculture, community development, or related areas.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for promoting sustainable practices and improving the well-being of neonates.
