Position Available: Wildlife Habitat Conservation Specialist
Are you passionate about wildlife preservation and environmental conservation? Austurland Community Environmental Group is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Wildlife Habitat Conservation Specialist in the Eastern Region of Iceland.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys to assess wildlife habitats
- Implement conservation strategies to protect local ecosystems
- Collaborate with community members and stakeholders on conservation initiatives
- Educate the public on the importance of preserving wildlife habitats
- Monitor and track wildlife populations
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field
- Experience in wildlife research and habitat conservation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion for environmental sustainability and wildlife protection
