We are currently looking to fill the position of Wildlife Care Specialist:
- Position: Wildlife Care Specialist
- Location: Western Region, Iceland
- Job Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care for wildlife residents, including feeding, enrichment, and habitat maintenance
- Assist in the development and implementation of wildlife conservation programs
- Monitor animal behavior, health, and welfare
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the well-being of all wildlife
Requirements:
- Passion for wildlife conservation and sustainability
- Experience in animal care, preferably in a sanctuary or wildlife rehabilitation center
- Knowledge of local wildlife species and ecosystems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
