Are you passionate about fostering cultural understanding and promoting well-being? The Doubs Cultural Exchange Foundation, located in the vibrant region of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, is seeking a skilled individual to fill the role of Cross-Cultural Wellness Specialist.
In this dynamic position, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with diverse communities and individuals, bridging gaps in healthcare accessibility and cultural awareness. As a cross-cultural liaison, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all individuals, regardless of background, receive the care and support they need.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement culturally sensitive wellness programs
- Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and clients from various cultural backgrounds
- Conduct outreach initiatives to promote health education and preventive care
- Provide training on cross-cultural competence to healthcare professionals
- Coordinate resources to support the diverse needs of the community
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Proven experience in cross-cultural communication or community health
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus
- Passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in healthcare
