Vestland Red Cross is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Rural Development Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work directly with rural areas in Vestland, Norway, to implement sustainable development projects that benefit local farmers and promote environmental conservation.

As a Rural Development Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and executing programs that address the unique challenges faced by agricultural communities. Your work will focus on promoting sustainable farming practices, supporting small-scale farmers, and fostering community resilience in the face of environmental pressures.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and implement sustainable development projects in rural communities

Qualifications:

Degree in Agriculture, Rural Development, Environmental Science, or related field
Experience working in rural development or community-based projects
Strong understanding of sustainable agriculture practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
