About Our Organization
Special Olympics North Carolina is committed to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities. We aim to create a more inclusive and accepting society through the power of sports.
Your Role
- Empower athletes with intellectual disabilities through promoting overall well-being and healthy lifestyles.
- Collaborate with coaches and athletes to develop wellness strategies and initiatives.
- Organize fitness events and wellness workshops to enhance the physical and mental health of our community.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in wellness promotion or related fields is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for advocating for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
