Position Overview

The Creative Communication Strategist will play a vital role in developing and executing communication strategies that resonate with our multicultural audience. You will be responsible for creating engaging content across various channels, designing campaigns that inform and inspire, and utilizing innovative approaches to storytelling. Your work will directly contribute to our mission of fostering social inclusion and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation: Develop compelling narratives and visual content for our programs, initiatives, and events. This includes writing articles, producing video content, and designing promotional materials.
Campaign Development: Collaborate with team members to conceptualize and implement creative campaigns that raise awareness about important issues related to refugees and community support.
Community Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, ensuring that our communications are aligned with their needs and interests.
Research and Analysis: Conduct research to understand the preferences and needs of our diverse audience, using insights to inform content strategy and communication practices.
Social Media Management: Oversee our social media presence, creating content that reflects our values and engages our community while growing our online following.
Collaborative Projects: Work closely with various teams, including outreach, education, and advocacy, to ensure cohesive messaging that promotes our organizational goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in content creation, storytelling, and campaign management.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing strategies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for captivating storytelling.
A creative thinker who is able to generate innovative ideas and concepts.
