Position: Legal Compliance Officer
Austurland Community Cultural Festival is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual for the role of Legal Compliance Officer. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of regulatory requirements who can ensure the festival's operations comply with all relevant laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and oversee compliance policies and procedures
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas of non-compliance
- Provide advice and guidance on legal matters to internal teams
- Stay up-to-date on changes in laws and regulations affecting the festival
- Collaborate with external legal counsel as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or related field
- Proven experience in a compliance or legal role
- Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex legal matters effectively
