Louisville Metro Department of Transportation and Mobility is seeking a dynamic individual to lead our sustainability initiatives and drive positive environmental change!
As the Lead Sustainability Strategist, you will spearhead innovative programs aimed at reducing our carbon footprint, improving energy efficiency, and fostering a culture of sustainability within our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sustainability strategies to enhance environmental performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate sustainable practices into transportation and mobility projects.
- Provide expertise on renewable energy solutions and green infrastructure development.
- Lead initiatives to promote eco-friendly transportation options and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Monitor and analyze sustainability metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Urban Planning, or related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing sustainability programs.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and industry best practices.
