About Us:
Ragusa Youth Empowerment Program is looking for a passionate and experienced individual to join us as a Culinary Experience Curator. In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to inspire and empower the youth while showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Sicily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute innovative culinary experiences that captivate and educate program participants.
- Collaborate with local chefs and artisans to develop authentic and immersive food-related activities.
- Lead cooking workshops, tastings, and guided food tours to promote cultural exchange and community engagement.
- Create compelling narratives around Sicilian cuisine to foster a deep appreciation for local traditions.
- Mentor and guide aspiring young chefs in honing their culinary skills and uncovering their potential.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the culinary industry, with a strong understanding of Sicilian gastronomy and traditions.
- Passion for youth development and a keen interest in mentoring and inspiring the next generation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to engage and motivate program participants.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders and build meaningful relationships within the community.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and craft unique culinary experiences.
