About the Role

As a Sustainability Development Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advancing initiatives that support the sustainable management of natural resources and the promotion of long-term environmental health. This position requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders, including educators, industry professionals, and community leaders, to design, implement, and evaluate projects that align with our mission of nurturing future leaders committed to responsible growth.

Key Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive programs that promote sustainable practices in agricultural and rural settings within North Carolina.
Conduct research and analyze data related to conservation efforts, resource efficiency, and sustainable development trends.
Collaborate with educators to integrate innovative sustainability concepts into curricula and extracurricular activities.
Organize workshops, seminars, and outreach activities designed to inspire youth and community members toward proactive environmental stewardship.
Establish and maintain partnerships with local organizations, governmental agencies, and industry groups to enhance program impact.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations outlining program outcomes, best practices, and future strategies.
