We are excited to welcome a new team member to the Borgarfjordur Community Environmental Coalition! Are you passionate about upholding regulations that protect our environment and community? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a drive to ensure compliance with local laws?
We are currently seeking a Community Regulatory Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all our activities align with relevant regulations and laws governing environmental protection without directly engaging in legal practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and interpreting environmental regulations
- Advising the team on compliance measures
- Coordinating with regulatory agencies
- Ensuring our projects align with community standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Public Policy, or related field
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
