We are looking for a:
- Artisan Alchemist: Do you possess the rare ability to breathe life into every creation, infusing it with character and charm that captivates all who behold it? If you have an eye for detail, a flair for innovation, and a deep appreciation for the craft, we want you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design unique artisanal pieces that showcase the rich cultural heritage of the Northern Cape
- Collaborate with fellow craftsmen to bring collective visions to life
- Meticulously craft and assemble pieces using a variety of techniques and mediums
- Adapt to evolving trends in artistry while staying true to traditional craftsmanship
Requirements:
- Proven experience in artisanal craftsmanship or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to work with various materials such as wood, metal, textiles, etc.
- Passion for preserving and promoting local artistry and heritage
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for aesthetics and quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
