Husavik Community Food Bank is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Community Engagement Specialist.

Job Title: Community Engagement Specialist

Location: Husavik, Northeastern Region, Iceland

Responsibilities:

Organize and coordinate community events to promote social inclusion and well-being
Develop partnerships with local sports groups and organizations to enhance community engagement
Implement creative initiatives to encourage healthy lifestyle choices and physical activities
Collaborate with volunteers and stakeholders to support the mission of the food bank
Utilize social media and other platforms to raise awareness and engage with the community

Qualifications:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in event planning and community outreach
Knowledge of the local sports and entertainment landscape
