Position: Rakiura Marine Discovery Specialist

Location: Stewart Island, New Zealand

Role Overview:

Lead engaging marine discovery tours for visitors exploring the stunning coastline of Stewart Island.
Provide informative and educational insights into the diverse marine life and ecosystems of the region.
Assist in research projects focused on marine conservation and environmental sustainability.
Collaborate with a team of like-minded individuals dedicated to promoting marine awareness and conservation efforts.
Contribute to the development of innovative tour experiences that showcase the natural beauty of Rakiura Marine Reserve.

Requirements:

A genuine passion for marine conservation and environmental protection.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and educate visitors of all ages.
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities to work effectively with fellow team members.
Knowledge or experience in marine biology, ecology, or related fields is a plus.
First aid certification and boating experience are advantageous.
