Senior Sports Development Strategist

Are you passionate about fostering athletic talent and creating impactful sports programs? Kisii University invites applications for the position of Senior Sports Development Strategist to lead our initiatives in harnessing the potential of young athletes within the vibrant Rift Valley community. This role goes beyond traditional coaching and administration - it requires a visionary leader who can innovate and drive the growth of sports culture.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans for athletic advancement and sports program expansion.
Mentor and guide student-athletes in achieving their full potential, both academically and athletically.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to integrate sports into the university's academic curriculum.
Organize sports events, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and promote teamwork.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Proven experience in developing sports programs and coaching at a collegiate level.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes and team members.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
