We are looking for a creative and passionate team player to join us at Rhode Island Historical Society!
Job Title: Heritage Conservation Specialist
Are you a history enthusiast with a knack for conservation and preservation work? If so, we want you to be a part of our innovative team!
As a Heritage Conservation Specialist, you will be responsible for utilizing cutting-edge techniques and methodologies to preserve and protect historical artifacts and documents for future generations. You will work closely with our team of experts in the field to ensure that Rhode Island's rich history is safeguarded using the latest technology and conservation practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implementing advanced preservation techniques to maintain the integrity of historical artifacts
- Collaborating with our team to develop innovative conservation strategies
- Researching and recommending new technologies for artifact restoration
- Managing conservation projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in History, Art Conservation, or related field
- Proven experience in heritage conservation and preservation
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art conservation tools and techniques
