Position Overview
We are looking for an Environmental Stewardship Officer to join our team. This role focuses on implementing strategies to minimize our environmental impact and enhance the region's ecological sustainability. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of tourism in the Aosta Valley.
Responsibilities
- Develop and oversee environmental initiatives to reduce waste and promote conservation
- Collaborate with local communities to integrate sustainable practices into tourism operations
- Educate visitors on responsible tourism and environmental protection
- Monitor and report on the environmental performance of our tourism activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field
- Previous experience in environmental management or sustainability
- Passion for preserving natural environments and promoting eco-friendly practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
