Welcome to Southern Highlands Geological Survey! We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Geological Exploration Specialist in the stunning landscapes of Iceland's Southern Highlands.

If you have a passion for geology and a keen eye for detail, this challenging role is perfect for you. As a Geological Exploration Specialist, you will be responsible for conducting field surveys, collecting and analyzing geological data, and contributing to research projects that shape our understanding of Iceland's unique geological features.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting geological surveys and field mapping
Collecting and analyzing geological samples
Assisting with research projects and data interpretation
Producing detailed reports and presentations
Working collaboratively with a team of geologists and researchers

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field
Previous experience in geological exploration and fieldwork
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in remote and challenging environments
