Northwest Mississippi Community College is committed to fostering a culture of empowerment and engagement in our community. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team in the role of Community Engagement Manager.

As the Community Engagement Manager, you will play a vital role in enhancing community relationships and building meaningful connections with diverse stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

Developing and implementing strategic communication initiatives to promote our mission and values.
Collaborating with internal teams to create compelling content across various platforms.
Organizing community events and engagement programs that reflect our commitment to social responsibility.
Monitoring and analyzing communication metrics to measure the impact of our outreach efforts.
Acting as a liaison between the college and local media outlets to ensure accurate representation.

We are looking for a candidate with a creative approach to communication and a passion for making a difference in the community. The ideal candidate should possess:

A Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated experience in community engagement and media relations.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
