As a Natural Resources Stewardship Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our tribe's commitment to environmental conservation, sustainability, and preserving the natural beauty surrounding our community. You will work closely with tribal leadership, environmental experts, and stakeholders to develop and implement strategies aimed at protecting our lands and resources for future generations.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct environmental assessments and implement sustainable practices.
Manage natural resource conservation projects within tribal lands.
Collaborate with external partners to promote environmental stewardship initiatives.
Monitor and analyze data to assess the impact of human activities on the environment.
Engage with tribal members to raise awareness about conservation efforts.
Participate in educational outreach programs focused on environmental protection.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resources Management, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental conservation or natural resources management.
Strong knowledge of local environmental regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Passion for environmental advocacy and cultural preservation.
