Position: Community Relations Specialist
Location: North West, South Africa
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Community Relations Specialist to join our team at Sun City Resort. As a pivotal part of our organization, you will be responsible for spearheading community engagement initiatives and ensuring that Sun City remains a positive influence in the North West region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local communities, government officials, and nonprofit organizations.
- Create and implement innovative community programs and initiatives that align with Sun City's values and goals.
- Organize and participate in community events, outreach programs, and charitable activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to integrate community affairs strategies into company projects and initiatives.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of community relations efforts, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in community relations, government relations, or nonprofit work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational abilities.
- Passion for community outreach and making a positive impact.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
