Position: Sustainable Materials Research and Innovation Specialist

As a Sustainable Materials Research and Innovation Specialist at Cholet Fashion Design Institute, you will play a pivotal role in driving our environmental initiatives forward. Your responsibilities will include researching, evaluating, and recommending sustainable materials and production methods for our fashion designs. You will collaborate across teams to integrate eco-conscious practices into our institute's ethos, ensuring that environmental considerations are at the forefront of all our endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

Research and analyze sustainable materials suitable for fashion design
Develop innovative strategies to integrate eco-friendly practices into the design process
Evaluate the environmental impact of materials and processes used in fashion production
Collaborate with design and production teams to implement sustainable practices
Stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in environmentally friendly materials and technologies

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or related field
Demonstrated experience in sustainable materials research and application within a fashion or textile environment
Strong understanding of environmental regulations and standards
Passion for sustainability and a holistic approach to environmental stewardship
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural setting
Ability to think creatively and problem-solve in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
