Position Available: Multifaceted Cultural Liaison Officer

About the Position:

Facilitate communication and media projects that foster unity among various cultural groups within the municipality
Initiate and maintain relationships with local media outlets and community organizations to promote cultural initiatives
Organize events and programs that celebrate the rich and diverse heritage of Mpumalanga
Contribute to the creation of multimedia content that highlights multicultural aspects of the community
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication strategies that resonate with diverse audiences

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Media Studies, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field
Proven experience in community outreach, event planning, or cultural communications
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Strong organizational and project management abilities
Proficiency in multimedia content creation and social media platforms
Fluency in English and knowledge of local languages would be advantageous
