Position Summary: Community Engagement Coordinator
The Community Engagement Coordinator plays a crucial role in developing and managing outreach and partnership efforts aimed at amplifying community voices and fostering constructive dialogue among diverse groups. This position requires a dynamic individual capable of navigating complex social landscapes, building meaningful partnerships, and driving initiatives that support collective growth and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

- Facilitation and Coordination: Lead workshops, forums, and focus groups to encourage community dialogue, feedback, and collaborative problem-solving.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Track program outcomes and impact, compile reports that inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.
- Cultural Competency Advocacy: Promote an understanding of cultural differences and inclusivity principles within internal teams and external collaborators.

Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Social Sciences, International Relations, Public Affairs, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience (minimum 3 years) in community engagement, outreach coordination, or program management within multicultural or socially focused environments.
- Strong intercultural communication skills, with fluency in English and German; additional languages are considered a valuable asset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders, organize multifaceted events, and facilitate participatory processes.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with community dynamics in North Rhine-Westphalia and sensitivity to the socio-economic challenges within diverse populations.
