The Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Land Resource Steward. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in the conservation and sustainable management of Switzerland's land resources.

Responsibilities:

Conduct research and analysis on land use patterns and trends.
Develop strategies for optimizing land resource utilization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to promote sustainable land management practices.
Monitor and assess the impact of human activities on land ecosystems.
Provide recommendations for land conservation and remediation efforts.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Geography, Environmental Science, or Natural Resource Management.
Strong analytical skills with a keen interest in land resource conservation.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience in GIS and remote sensing tools is a plus.
Passion for environmental stewardship and sustainability.
