Georgia Aquarium is seeking a passionate individual to join our team as an Aquatic Wellness Specialist. As an Aquatic Wellness Specialist, you will have the unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment dedicated to the health and well-being of our aquatic life.
We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about aquatic health and wellness, with a strong dedication to ensuring the vitality and happiness of our marine creatures. The Aquatic Wellness Specialist will be responsible for designing and implementing wellness programs, conducting health assessments, and collaborating with our animal care team to promote a nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement customized wellness programs for various aquatic species
- Conduct regular health assessments and provide recommendations for optimal wellness
- Collaborate with the animal care team to ensure a holistic approach to aquatic well-being
- Stay updated on the latest trends in aquatic wellness and implement best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology, Aquatic Sciences, or related field
- Prior experience in aquatic health and wellness is preferred
- Passion for animal care and marine life conservation
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
